Wagenswest was started by Nate Curtis, born 1976 in Long Beach, to a home on Compton Blvd in Paramount, California.
The son of Dan Curtis, who at the time was the head mechanic for Long Beach Harley Davidson, Nate grew up with an eye on his father and his motorhead friends. Little Nasty Nate was encouraged one hundred percent in hand crafting, busting, breaking and changing motorized steel under the loud sounds of scooters, hot rods, trains, planes and the sweet smelling LA smog.

Nate and Wagenswest are now in Oregon where it is really wet and green.
