Wagenswest complete 1968-79 bus Suspension and brake kit, the good stuff with no guess work

Porsche bolt pattern 5 on 130mm.

This kit comes with a complete 4" inch narrowed adjustable front-end with new ball joints and 2.5 inch dropped spindles; including Wagenswest vented 4 piston disk brakes. The beam is ready to install grease, align, and go.

The rear end kit consist of Wagenswest drop plates, 3.25" for 1971-79 and an option for 4.5" to fit aftermarket wheels on the 1968-70 bus. The brakes are OEM Porsche style with internal parking brakes and forged hubs, 4 piston calipers and vented cross drilled rotors.

A pair of adjustable spring plates, all 4 shocks. Some of our new Wagenswest billet spring plate caps and a master cylinder kit is also included.

The suspension and brake parts needed to do the job.

KIT WILL NOT FIT STOCK 14" WHEELS.

Wagenswest 1968-71 VW bus adjustable spring plates, these will make it a breeze to fine tune the ride height, on the rear of your early bay bus. Adjustable spring plates are also a good idea with Horseshoe plates and the Wagenswest 4.5 drop plates. Made out of all new material, “special high strength alloys”.

Wagenswest 2.5" inch rear lift plates.

These plates for 1968-79 Buses. These plates are a direct bolt on setup, made out of CNC machined 3/4 plate steel.

These plates lift the rear of your bus 2.5" inches.

These plates also increase your track 3/4" inch per side.

These plates also push your wheel back toward the rear of your bus 3/4" inch

. Make sure these are right for you!

The Bustang front disc brake kit is for 1963-70 VW bus with a 5 on 205mm bolt pattern. This disc brake kit is something that we have been using and building for years, it works Awesome. With heavy duty cast vented rotors and 4 piston Wilwood calipers, this kit will stop you fast!

This kit comes with

2 x Prepped vented rotors with bearing races installed

2 x Wagenswest laser cut CNC machined wide-five adapters

1 x Set of new wheel bearings and grease seals 2 x Steel caliper mounts, with mounting hardware

2 x Wilwood 4 piston calipers and brake pads

2 x New Wagenswest grease caps

2 x Brake line adapters

1 x Package of lock tight

This Bustang disc brake kit will fit under most any aftermarket aluminum or steel 15+ inch wheels.
If you want to run stock wheels, then we suggest our Babystang disc kit.
Both kits work with most any type of dropped spindle.

1955-63 VW bus to Porsche 944 style vented disc brake kit

This disc brake kit is designed and built in the tradition of Porsche to bus conversions, using vented pre 1987 Porsche 944 rotors. With new Wagenswest 6061 aluminum, CNC machined hubs, this disc brake kit is a direct bolt on for the 1955 to mid 1963 Volkswagen Bus spindles.

The kit comes with what you see in the photos, including 4 piston Wilwood calipers, new wheel bearings, new rotors, seals, bolts, mounts and brake line adapters.

Bolt pattern is 5 on 130mm Porsche.

Caliper color choice is gray or red

Bolts directly to dropped or stock 1955-63 bus spindles

Built by us ‘Wagenswest’ in our shop on our Equipment.

1955-67 Volkswagen Bus Welded Drop Spindles – SERVICE.

Send us your spindles and a copy of your order and we will drop and rebuild them.

With a 2.5″, 3.5″, 4″, 5″, and 6″ inch drop these are by far the best and hardest to build spindles you can buy for a 1955-67 Volkswagen bus. Built using special jigs, these spindles keep all your stock tie rod geometry while maintaining all the original phenolic pivot bushings.

When we ship these out they are 100% rebuilt with king pins and seals, loaded with grease-zerks ready to install

4″ inch welded drop spindles will fit inside a 14″ inch and bigger wheel. 5″ inch will fit inside a 15″ inch and bigger wheel. 6″ inch will fit inside a 16″ inch and bigger wheel. One more major benefit is that you can install these spindles with stock tie rods and ends so all you need is the spindles!!

3/8 track increase each side

These take 8 -12 weeks, so remember that when ordering!
