1955-67 E brake spacer tubes for the rear of your lowered split bus.

Fitment is for type 1 and type 3 drum backing plates when used in the rear of a split bus.

These little spacers go in-between the cable liner and backing plate.

1955-67 VW Bus static off set spring plates

All our offset spring plates include offset shock mounts.

Offset spring plates enable you to lower the rear of your pre 1967 Volkswagen bus 3.5 inches by swapping the reduction gear transmission with a long axle type one or type three swing axle transmissions.

What you need to do the job.

#1 A set of offset spring plates.

#2 a 68 bug swing axle transmission or a pre 67 type 3 transmission.

#3 brakes if you use the 68 bug transmission you can machine a set of pre 63 bus drums to fit over the bug brakes or if you use a type 3 you can buy wide five drums.

You will also need to take the bus nose cone off of the bus trans and use it on the bug or type 3 transmission.

By far the easiest way to lower the back of your bus.

This kit makes it so you can install a tunnel case transmission into your early bus or beetle, 1959 and down.
This adapter will not push your transmission back, like the other adapters on the market !!!!!!!!
Made at Wagenswest with our USA special blend Polyurethane to help insulate the transmission from the bus, this helps keep the noise down in the cab and cargo area.
Kit comes with one Wagenswest nose cone mount and retainer plate.
This Lollipop is a simple solution to an age old problem.
Your type II nose cone will need to be trimmed to fit, like the photo in this add. And you will need a type 2 nose cone if you use this on an early beetle.

Wagenswest 1955-67 vw bus dogleg spring plates. Also available in adjustable, these plates are designed to replace the old style straight axle spring plates, IE plates that are cut from stock ones. This way you will have more spring plate material and be able to go lower with out sacrificing strength.

Wagenswest (Beefcake) VW bus beam adjuster

Wagenswest bus beam adjusters are Drop forged out of 4140, with big beefy teeth to insure a solid grip with no slip.

This adjuster fits

Volkswagen bus from beams from 1949-1979. These are by far the strongest bus beam adjuster that can be found. This is a project for someone that is a a descent welder and prepared to do some drilling, cutting, grinding, smacking and welding. So if you do not weld it is necessary to find someone who does, and show them the how to linked below so they understand what there in for.

These are sold each and you will need 2 of them to do one beam.
